The 2014 Millstone Institute Impact Series for board members, volunteers and professionals throughout the St. Louis Jewish community will kick off with a interactive program featuring Lou Feldstein on Monday, March 10 at 7 pm. Feldstein, founder and CEO of Dynamic Change Solutions in Atlanta, will lead “The Path to Exceptional Organizations: Bringing Energy, Enthusiasm and Effectiveness to Every Meeting.” The free workshop will feature three ways to immediately elevate the work of boards and committees. Discussion will include how to run meetings so that members feel eager to follow through on commitments and have the confidence and skills to create long-term impact.
Feldstein will also lead a program the same day at 12 pm on “The Secret Story Behind Successful Fundraising.” Planned for both experienced fundraisers and those hesitant to solicit support, Feldstein will help participants tell stories that motivate and inspire involvement and support. Both programs are free and open to the community and will be held at the Jewish Federation Kopolow Building, 12 Millstone Campus Drive.
Professionals working at Jewish organizations in St. Louis are welcome to attend Feldstein’s program for JProSTL, “Making Meetings Magical: The Role of the Professional” at 8:30 am on Monday, March 10. This training will explore how to view every meeting as an opportunity to make powerful connections, deepen commitments, increase engagement and align decisions with the agency’s mission. This program will be held in the Kopolow Building and is free for professionals.
Feldstein is a dynamic and popular educator and trainer consulting with and facilitating workshops for numerous Federation, campus, synagogue and Jewish organizational groups. He has been published in a number of secular and Jewish publications and appeared on 20/20.
