Women’s Philanthropy of Jewish Federation of St. Louis will present three special events in 2013 and 2014 as part of the Women’s Philanthropy Programming Series. Intended to inspire, educate and enlighten participants, the events include:
- “Renewing Yourself for the New Year”—a discussion facilitated by Rabbi Carnie Rose
August 21, 2013, 5 pm at a private residence in Clayton
Light hors d’oeuvres and cocktails provided
- “Discovering Our Roots: Jews in Europe”—lunch and learn
November 19, 2013, 11:30 am (location to be determined)
Lunch provided
- “Kabbalah: Uncovering Judaic Mysticism”
February 6, 2014, 7 pm (location to be determined)
Light hors d’oeuvres and cocktails provided
The cost is $40 for all three events or $15 each event. Dietary laws will be observed. The deadline to register for the first event is August 19.
Women’s Philanthropy provides an opportunity for every woman to affirm her Jewish identity, connect with each other and inspire other Jewish women to establish themselves as full partners in our St. Louis Jewish community. As a place for women of all ages, backgrounds, interests, lifestyles and income levels, Women’s Philanthropy supports and enhances Jewish community life in St. Louis and Israel through fundraising efforts and leadership development.
