Begins Mon., Oct. 15, through late spring, 2013, at the Federation Kopolow Building
IMPACT: Enhancing Organizational Leadership, a series for board members, professionals and volunteers throughout the St. Louis Jewish community, is being sponsored by the Millstone Institute for Jewish Leadership. All sessions will be repeated to accommodate schedules and held in the Jewish Federation Kopolow Building.
The series kicks off on Monday, Oct. 15, 11:45 am to 1:15 pm, and repeated on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 7:30 to 9 pm with Brian Hayden, Management Consultant at Collaborative Strategies. Brian will lead a program on Planning for Impact about how to think boldly about your organization’s future while staying grounded in realities.
The series continues on Sunday, Oct. 28, 7 to 9 pm, and repeated on Monday, Oct. 29, 8:30 to 10:30 am with Rae Ringel, M.A., an executive coach and leadership trainer at the Ringel Group. Rae will present a program on Fundraising for Impact which will examine how to help volunteers live their passions while fulfilling their organization’s mission.
Rahna Barthelmess will lead the next session on Thursday, Nov. 15, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, and repeated on Thursday, Dec. 6, 7 to 9 pm. Rahna is a marketing consultant who has worked in the branding business for LEGO©, Build-A-Bear© and currently at Jewish Federation. She will head a program on Branding for Impact to look at ways to determine what makes your organization unique and how to make others care about what you do.
The IMPACT series will continue into 2013 with three valuable sessions. Communicating for Impact will be held by Joan Denison, Executive Director of Covenant House/CHAI Apartments, on Monday, Feb. 11, 11 am to 1:30 pm, and repeated on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 6:30 to 9 pm. This will be followed by a session featuring Ellen Kagen Waghelstein, Director of the Georgetown Leadership program, who will speak about the importance of Leadership With Impact on Sun., March 3, 9:30 am to 3 pm. The same program will be repeated on Monday, March 4, 8:30 am to 2 pm. Relationship Building for Impact with Ed Reggi, a Project Manager at the Nine Network of Public Media, will be held in late spring, 2013.
