What are you most looking forward to doing/seeing/experiencing in Israel?
The culture, the traditions, and learning about the history of Israel and its remarkable journey through the last 60+ years.
Who are you meeting in Israel and what is their role/profession?
I am meeting with a Member of the Knesset.  The Knesset is the “Congress” of Israel.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Spending time with my family, playing golf, reading books, magazines and papers (basically anything about history and current events).
What are you doing to prepare for this experience?
I have been reading books about Israel and about different moments in Israeli history.   I have also been talking to people that have been to Israel to get their perspectives of how to best take in the entire experience of Israel.

Spaghetti and Burritos

Something interesting/unique about yourself?
I have a lot of interest in politics and in public policy issues.  I work for a company based in Washington DC which enables me to travel there often to speak and talk with legislators and people within the government affairs industry.   I hope this perspective will be valuable in talking with policy makers in Israel and learning about how their culture approaches issues differently than in the United States.
