Tomorrow morning is the day that we Rubin-ites depart from St. Louis to begin our journey to Eretz Yisrael. Although we are leaving Thursday, it will be Friday when we actually arrive. How wonderful it will be to be able to celebrate Shabbat our first night in Israel!
Since we will not be blogging for you during Shabbat…unless Margo planned some “down time” before Shabbat begins, you will have to wait until Saturday night (Israel-time) for an update about our flight and how beautiful our first two days were.
As we make our last minute preparations, we can’t help but feel so blessed to have this opportunity and grateful to Pam and Ron Rubin. Their generosity is the reason the ten of us are going to Israel. If you are reading this, Pam and Ron, thank you again.
