Professional Development

Throughout the year, JProStL hosts programs designed to build connections across Jewish organizations, strengthen professional skills, and address emerging trends. All programs are free for staff who work at least 20 hours per week at a St. Louis Jewish organization, school or congregation. JProStL professional development programs are supported by the Barry Rosenberg Fund for Professional Excellence.

Fund for Professional Development

The Fund for Professional Development was established in 2021 in honor of Marci Mayer Eisen’s 40th work anniversary in the St. Louis Jewish community. Up to $1500 will be awarded in 2026 for a full-time staff person to attend a professional development experience.
