In Spring 2025, the Jewish Federation of St. Louis released findings from the 2024 Greater St. Louis Jewish Community Study.

Building on the momentum of the study, the Federation Board of Directors and Community Impact Team moved quickly to turn findings into something transformative by establishing the Jewish Federation Impact Grants.

JEWISH FEDERATION OF ST. LOUIS INVESTS IN

18 ORGANIZATIONS

IN ISRAEL AND OVERSEAS THAT SUPPORT GLOBAL JEWRY. THESE FUNDS SUPPORT 3 KEY AREAS

PLURALISM & SHARED SOCIETY We invest in organizations like Hand in Hand, which has helped form a resilient shared society of Jews and Arabs across Israel through six Jewish schools and their surrounding communities.

SOCIAL WELFARE We invest in organizations like JDC, the leading global Jewish humanitarian organization. They continue to serve as a beacon of hope for Jews and others in 70 countries.

ISRAEL & GLOBAL JEWRY We invest in efforts to connect to Israel through organizations like the Birthright Israel Foundation, whose mission is to provide all young Jewish adults with opportunities for transformation and immersive shared experiences in Israel as a foundation for ongoing Jewish connection.

When We Unite Against Antisemitism

FEDERATION IS THERE

A 2025 study

conducted by Jewish Federations of North America and ADL found that:

• 55% of Jewish Americans experienced at least one form of antisemitism in the past 12 months

• 57% believe that antisemitism is now a normal Jewish experience

AS A RESULT

• 77% of American Jews feel less safe after October 7, 2023

• 50% of Jews feel most people in the non-Jewish community would not stand with Jews in the event of threats and violence
