Join us for a captivating five-part series introducing the New Jewish Theatre’s 2026 season and the emerging Jewish themes found in its productions. Each Mirowitz Center session features insights from NJT’s artistic team, discussions with a rabbi, and an exclusive discount on play tickets.

The series opens with Joshua Harmon’s powerful drama, Prayer for the French Republic, which follows a Jewish family across generations as they navigate identity, belonging, and rising antisemitism in present-day France. Shifting between past and present, the play is shaped by the legacy of the Holocaust, raising urgent questions about safety, memory, and what it means to call a place home. Rabbi Noah Arnow of Kol Rinah leads an engaging discussion connecting the play’s themes to Jewish values and contemporary life. Artistic Director Rebekah Scallet of NJT shares insights into the production itself (costumes, actors, and stage design).

This series is co-sponsored by The New Jewish Theatre.
No cost to register, but RSVP required. Please use link below to register online or email program@mirowitzcenter.org or call 314-733-9813.
