DESCRIPTION:Join us for a captivating five-part series introducing the New Jewish Theatre’s 2026 season and the emerging Jewish themes found in its productions. Each Mirowitz Center session features insights from NJT’s artistic team\, discussions with a rabbi\, and an exclusive discount on play tickets. \n\n\n\nThe series opens with Joshua Harmon’s powerful drama\, Prayer for the French Republic\, which follows a Jewish family across generations as they navigate identity\, belonging\, and rising antisemitism in present-day France. Shifting between past and present\, the play is shaped by the legacy of the Holocaust\, raising urgent questions about safety\, memory\, and what it means to call a place home. Rabbi Noah Arnow of Kol Rinah leads an engaging discussion connecting the play’s themes to Jewish values and contemporary life.
