Join us December 23, 2026– January 3, 2027 for an extraordinary journey that will bring our community together in Israel for this once in a lifetime multi-generational trip. We invite parents, grandparents, teens and younger travelers to explore Israel side-by-side. Recommended for families with children ages 10 and older.

Base Land Price:
St. Louis Community Members:

$2,995 per person (double occupancy rooms)

This includes a generous $1,100 per-person subsidy from the Lubin-Green Foundation, a supporting foundation of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis.

Participants residing outside St. Louis:
$4,095 per person (double occupancy)

Deposit:
$250 per person to hold your spot.

Fully refundable by May 28, 2026

Final payment:
Due September 24, 2026 based on price adjustments

PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

Early Commitment Discount for St. Louis Community Members: Save $125 per person when you register by April 16, 2026


  • Single Room Supplement: Add $1,500 for single occupancy
  • Family Room Savings:
    • $350 off per person with a child (12 and younger) sharing a triple or quad room with at least one adult
      • Note: Hotels require two travelers ages 12 and younger in a quad room with adults; adjoining rooms may be necessary
    • $200 off per person (ages 13+) when sharing a triple room
FLIGHT INFORMATION

All participants are responsible for their own flight arrangements.

Jewish Federation of St. Louis will share staff flight plans once available.

Traveling on these flights are optional and not required.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

All lodging is included in the price of the trip. Price varies based on room type.

We will be staying at the following hotels:

  • 4 nights – Dan Boutique, Jerusalem
  • 1 night – Leonardo Desert, Be’er Sheva
  • 4-5 nights – Carlton, Tel Aviv

Hotel incidentals not included.

General Trip Logistics Overview

  • L’Dor V’Dor Exploring Israel Together begins with dinner on Thursday, December 24.
  • Complimentary touring will be available for travelers already in Israel on December 23 and for those arriving to Ben Gurion Airport by 9:30 am, December 24.
  • Airport greeting and transfer will be provided for arrivals between 6:00 am-4:20 pm on Thursday, December 24.
  • Guaranteed hotel check-in begins at 3:00 pm (luggage can be stored earlier).
  • On the final evening, Saturday, January 2, a transfer will be provided for flights departing between 11:00 pm and 1:00 am.
  • For travelers leaving during the day on Sunday, January 3, checkout is at noon – breakfast is not included on January 3.
  • Travelers are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance they feel most comfortable with.

How physically strenuous is the touring?

L’Dor V’Dor Exploring Israel Together includes moderate walking and activity.

Will we visit the communities near the Gaza border?

We intend to include this important experience. Visits will occur only if conditions allow, with safety as the guiding priority.

How should I arrange my travel in Israel?

Airport greeting and transfer will be provided for arrivals between 6:00am-4:20pm Thursday, December 24, 2026.

Departure transfer will be provided Saturday, January 2, 2027 for flights between 11:00pm-1:00am.

Participants arriving or departing outside of these windows can travel via cab, Gett (Uber) or train.

Is travel insurance available for Israel?

Travel insurance is not required, but we strongly encourage participants to purchase travel insurance for land and airfare.

Can I arrive early or extend our stay in Israel?

Yes, Authentic Israel can arrange extensions at the Jerusalem or Tel Aviv hotels.

Is it safe to visit Israel now?

While the region has ongoing security considerations, we take extensive precautions, including:

  • Hotels with safe rooms
  • Briefings on safe travel practices
  • Real-time decision-making guided by expert local partners

What happens if the security situation changes mid-trip?

Authentic Israel guides are trained to adjust itineraries, relocate groups, or modify programming if needed to ensure participant safety.

What’s the cancelation policy if security conditions change?

If travel is deemed unsafe prior to departure, full refunds will be issued.

Does the trip welcome travelers keeping kosher/Shabbat?

Yes. All food served is certified kosher, and we do not will be using a bus on Shabbat.

Are subsidies available?

Yes. Through the generosity of the Lubin-Green Foundation, a supporting foundation of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, the base price of L’Dor V’Dor Exploring Israel Together includes a significant subsidy of $1,100 per person.

I am traveling solo, can you help me find a roommate?

We will make every effort to match you with a roommate, but it is not guaranteed. If no match is found, the single supplement will apply.

Do I need an electronic travel authorization to enter Israel?

As of January 1, 2025, all travelers to Israel must obtain an ETA-IL except Israeli passport holders.

  • Valid for 2 years
  • Cost: 25 NIS (about $7)
  • Apply at least 72 hours before departure
  • Choose “Visit (Tourism)’
