Three Levels of Giving

Women’s Philanthropy celebrates and honors generosity at every level. Through the Pearl Society, Pomegranate Society, and Lion of Judah, donors are recognized for their leadership, impact, and ongoing commitment to strengthening Jewish life—locally and around the world.

Lion of Judah Society

Honors women who give $5,000 or more annually to the Annual Campaign. Lion of Judah donors are part of a powerful international network of over 18,000 Jewish women who are leading the way in philanthropy.

Pomegranate Society

Celebrates women who give $1,800–$4,999 annually. A symbol of abundance, tradition, and feminine strength, the pomegranate reflects the creativity and leadership at the heart of Women’s Philanthropy.

Pearl Society

Recognizing women who give $360–$1,799 annually. Every commitment makes a difference.

Lion of Judah Gold Pin

Worn as necklace or a pin, the Lion of Judah Gold Pin is the signature jewelry piece of Women’s Philanthropy.

Additionally, Lions can upgrade their pins with an additional diamond every year and can upgrade the stone in their Lion’s eye based on their level of giving. Lastly, any women who Lion of Judah Endowment has the option to add a flame to their pin to symbolize them as a Forever Lion.

Lion of Judah Charm

Exclusive to St. Louis, the Lion of Judah Charm was designed by local jeweler Diana Katzmann. The Lion of Judah Charm was designed with everyday wear in mind.

Available for Women who are part of the Lion of Judah Giving Society for $360. Through the generosity of Diane Katzmann, 100% of which goes directly to the Annual Campaign.

Pomegranate Silver Pin

The pomegranate, said to contain 613 seeds for the mitzvot in the Torah, symbolizes abundance and purpose. Pomegranate members help plant the seeds of our community’s future—represented by the addition of a ruby to their pin each year they sustain their gift.

The Pomegranate Pin is also available with the option for Rubies to be added each year of giving.

Pearl Society – Silver Hamsa Pendant and Necklace

Features a silver Hamsa—symbolizing the Hand of God—with a freshwater pearl inlay, suspended on a black leather cord with a 2″ sterling silver extender. The letter pey, representing the Hebrew word p’nina (pearl), is elegantly embossed on the back.

 

The Lion of Judah Endowment

Create a lasting legacy by making a planned gift of $125,000 or more to sustain your annual Lion of Judah gift for generations to come. Forever Lions may add a flame—or l’atid—to their pin in recognition of this eternal commitment.
