Join us at Temple Israel for a special Shabbat service to celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut, and to commemorate Yom Hazikaron and Yom HaShoah. .
Following the service, experience Holocaust Composer Stories: Pavel Haas, a powerful presentation and performance by musicians of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra that brings to life the story and music of Czech-Jewish composer Pavel Haas through his String Quartet No. 3. The program will end with a brief musical tribute to Holocaust victims by Rabbi Amy Feder and musicians of the SLSO.
