To Protect Our Community

Community Security Initiative

Protecting Our Community. Standing Against Hate.

Jewish Federation of St. Louis is deeply committed to the safety and security of our Jewish community. In response to the rising threats of antisemitism and violence, our Community Security Initiative (CSI) was created to safeguard local Jewish institutions and help our community feel confident, prepared, and connected.

A Strategic Approach to Antisemitism

Security is more than presence — it’s about preparedness, coordination, and advocacy. Through CSI, the Federation:

  • Leads security training and shares best practices

  • Coordinates with local and federal agencies

  • Leverages government resources and security grants

  • Supports crisis and emergency response

  • Helps shape public messaging to address and combat antisemitism
