Women’s Philanthropy

Overview

This dynamic and inclusive group empowers you to make a difference through giving, service, and leadership. Whether you’re new to the St. Louis Jewish community or deeply rooted in it, you’ll find meaningful ways to connect, grow, and give back.

Together, we support vital programs and services that strengthen Jewish life—locally and around the world. From volunteer projects and community-wide events to immersive experiences and leadership development, Women’s Philanthropy is about more than fundraising—it’s about showing up, stepping forward, and shaping the future we want to see.

Our giving levels—Pearl, Pomegranate, and Lion of Judah—offer opportunities for recognition and connection at every stage of your philanthropic journey. But no matter how you give, you belong here.

Philanthropy Through Giving

Philanthropy Through Service

Mitzvah Days

A Mitzvah, a word often used to describe a good deed. Women’s Philanthropy plans Mitzvah opportunities throughout the year to give back to the St. Louis community.

Pack A Bag of Love

Our annual community service opportunity to enhance the holidays for community members residing in eldercare residences or those who are homebound. Volunteer to help bake, pack, and/or deliver honey cakes.

Hanukkah Hugs

In partnership with the Jewish Family Services, we annually hold a toy drive for children who are in need.

Friendships Through Women’s Philanthropy

Educational Events

Women’s Philanthropy is dedicated to developing women. We plan programming to help develop women and help them connect deeper to their Jewish heritage.

Social Events

Crack. Bam. Dot. Women’s Philanthropy has learned the Jewish Women of St. Louis love playing Maj Jong. As a result we host an annual Maj Jong night. Think of like a St. Louis Trivia night but a friendly (or competitive) game of Maj Jong.

Travel Experiences

Women’s Philanthropy will offer unique travel opportunities for the community to experience the Jewish Culture in a different city.
