Leadership Programs

ATID

Meaning “future” in Hebrew, ATID connects young Jewish adults to Israeli culture, Jewish values, and the power of giving. Together, we explore how our heritage can inspire growth, belonging, and a stronger Jewish future. ATID is a national initiative of the Jewish Federations of North America, brought to St. Louis by the Jewish Federation.

It’s about growing together, building bridges, and shaping what comes next for our community.

Rooted in Philanthropy

Leadership Development with Purpose

At its heart, ATID helps young Jewish adults understand how giving shapes the future. Participants learn how collective philanthropy strengthens Jewish life locally and globally, building a deeper connection to both community and Israel.

Through ATID, young Jewish adults explore what it means to lead with Jewish values. Participants gain the tools, knowledge, and confidence to take on meaningful leadership roles—both within the Federation and across the broader Jewish community.

Connecting to Israel, Right Here

A National Movement, A Local Impact

While ATID is a national initiative, its implementation in St. Louis reflects the unique strengths and needs of our community. By joining ATID here, participants not only contribute to shaping Jewish life locally, but also become part of a national network of young Jewish leaders.

The program builds a vital bridge between our Jewish community, Israeli culture, and the values that guide us forward, brings the richness of Israeli life and culture into our local community. Participants explore Jewish values and traditions through the lens of Israel today—discovering how those experiences can inspire their own personal growth and community involvement.

Empowering the Next Generation

Growing, Evolving, Belonging

More than a leadership program, ATID is a journey of growth—where young Jewish adults evolve into active participants in shaping the Jewish future. Together, we create a sense of belonging that honors our heritage while embracing the next chapter of Jewish life.

Being part of Atid has made me turn inward and really think deeply about how I want to be as a family member, a Jew, and a leader in my community. It has, in short order, provided me with the tools to use when thinking about how I want to be part of and build a family structure that is filled with love, meaningful giving, and sustainability.
