On Shabbat morning, Rabbi Gershom Sizomu will deliver the D’var Torah on “Torah from Africa.” After Kiddush lunch, he will lead a Lunch and Learn titled “Jewish Peoplehood: The Importance of Shared Values, Unique Perspectives, and Real Relationships.”
After Havdallah, join us for hors d’oeuvres followed by a special presentation in the library, “Resilience and Renewal: The Unique History of the Abayudaya Jewish Community of Uganda,” featuring videos and slides that bring the story to life.
