JBF + Shaving Israel author event with David Shlachter, “Hinenu: Israel at Ten Million”

As part of the annual St. Louis Jewish Book Festival & Speaker Series, the J will be hosting accomplished portrait photographer and author, David Shlachter, who has published his new book “Hinenu: Israel at Ten Million,” a photographic oral history of 100 Israelis at the moment the country’s population passed the 10 million mark. This event is in partnership with Shaving Israel — celebrating their 20+ years of service to Israeli soldiers in need — and will be held at the J’s Performing Arts Center.
