Camp LEAD is a social justice–focused summer experience for rising 6th–8th grade students in the St. Louis region. Hosted by LEAD STL, a nonprofit empowering youth to lead social change in Greater St. Louis through immersive learning, leadership development, and empathy building, the program is centered in the Black and Jewish experiences and their intersections with other identities. Through this approach, students build empathy, leadership, and the social and emotional skills needed to bridge divides.

Camp LEAD offers four one-week sessions in July centered on identity, leadership, and advocacy. Campers can attend one session, or all four.

Each session includes engaging activities, interactive discussions, creative expression, and local field trips that connect students to the St. Louis community. Campers will build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and learn how to engage across difference in meaningful ways.
