Chief Development Officer (Apply Here)

The Federation seeks a dynamic, results-driven Chief Development Officer (CDO) with a strong track record in fundraising to lead the organization’s philanthropic strategy, including the annual campaign, donor-directed giving, corporate giving, special events and planned giving.

 

Reporting to the CEO, the CDO serves on the executive management team and leads a 7-member Philanthropic Advancement team. The CDO is responsible for developing and executing a robust donor-centric strategy focused on stewardship, relationship management and volunteer collaboration. The CDO will drive innovation, enhance fundraising efforts, and play a key role in identifying, cultivating and soliciting major donors while expanding the donor base across diverse demographics. Additionally, the CDO will strengthen donor retention through endowments and planned giving initiatives.

Gift Officer (Apply Here)

As the Gift Officer, you are responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of individual donors and prospects to secure philanthropic support for the organization. This role focuses on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors at the mid‑level and major gift levels, building strong relationships that advance the organization’s mission. The Gift Officer collaborates closely with development team members but does not have supervisory duties.

Associate Director, Community Leadership and Engagement (Apply Here)

The Associate Director, Community Leadership and Engagement is responsible for advancing the Jewish Federation of St. Louis’ strategic priorities by leading key engagement initiatives, strengthening leadership development pipelines, and representing the Federation within the Jewish community and broader civic landscape. This role ensures the design, implementation, and evaluation of high-impact engagement programs while cultivating relationships that enhance community leadership, public affairs, and civic engagement efforts.

Project Coordinator for the MarCom Department (Apply Here)

The Project Coordinator manages cross-functional initiatives and program projects on behalf of the MarCom team, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with organizational priorities.

 

In 2026, this role will be instrumental in supporting the Jewish Federation of St. Louis’ 125th anniversary initiatives, including expanded campaigns, media flights, storytelling efforts, donor communications, signature events, and cross-departmental coordination. The Project Coordinator provides structured project management, timeline oversight, and workflow optimization to support the increased volume and complexity of MarCom initiatives.

Security Officer – Full Time (Apply Here)

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting the lives and property on the Millstone Campus and contracted facilities within the Jewish Community. The primary function is to be the frontline crime deterrent, whether by vehicle patrol, foot patrol, or stationary post. This position is required to carry a firearm and maintain the necessary licenses. This role is expected to adhere to the Jewish Federation’s mission, vision, and values.
