Your IRA can help provide food, security, education, and a stronger future for our Jewish community—all without increasing your taxable income.
Give Through Your IRA
Starting at age 70.5, individuals can take a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), also known as an IRA Charitable Rollover, to donate up to $108,000 a year directly to a charity tax-free.
At age 73, individuals with IRAs must start taking deductions from their funds, known as Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). RMDs are taxable and can push some retirees into a higher marginal tax bracket, by donating the RMD to charity, this avoids income tax for the amount of the distribution.
Your IRA can be use to make your donation to the Annual Campaign or to start an Endowment.
