A Jewnisian Shabbat

UCityPod is the Moishe House presence in University City, hosting four programs each month for Jewish young adults ages 22–32(ish).

Over Shabbat dinner, we’ll be joined by @Jewnisian, a Tunisian Jewish educator and Instagram creator who shares the history, culture, traditions, and stories of Jewish life in Tunisia with audiences around the world. Together, we’ll explore the community’s historic roots, distinctive traditions, and the Jewish presence that continues in Tunisia today.

We’ll also look at the connections between Tunisian Jews and the wider Jewish world, including the role international Jewish organizations have played in supporting and sustaining Jewish communal life in Tunisia.
