The J’s Birthday of the World: An Interactive Children’s Theatre Experience

The J, in partnership with local ECCs, Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School, and PJ Library, will present The Birthday of the World, an immersive children’s theater production inspired by the beloved PJ Library book by Dr. Rachel Naomi Remen. Through storytelling, music, visual wonder, and sensory exploration, children become active participants in a Jewish creation story about scattered sparks of light and their role in tikkun olam. The production introduces foundational Jewish values while fostering early literacy by bringing a cherished children’s book to life. The show will be on the road in other locations around St. Louis, check with your ECCs and synagogues for more information.
