Join us for an engaging series that introduces The New Jewish Theatre’s 2026 season and explores emerging Jewish themes in the plays. Each session features insights from NJT’s artistic team, lively discussions with a rabbi, and an exclusive discount on play tickets.
Max Wolf Friedlich’s gripping psychological thriller, JOB, follows an employee at a large tech company who has been placed on leave after becoming the subject of a viral video. Determined to be reinstated to the job that gives her life meaning, she meets with a crisis therapist, setting the stage for a tense exploration of accountability and personal responsibility. Rabbi Andrew Terkel of Congregation Shaare Emeth leads a thought-provoking discussion connecting the play’s themes to Jewish values, including ethics, community, and how we care for those in need in the digital age. Artistic Director Rebekah Scallet of NJT shares insights into the production itself (costumes, actors, and stage design).
This series is co-sponsored by The New Jewish Theatre.
