Taglit-Birthright Israel and the Jewish Federation of St. Louis have teamed up to provide the gift of a first time, peer educational trip to Israel specifically for St. Louisans! On this trip, you will get an insider’s perspective of the Jewish homeland: enjoying visits to vibrant cities and historical sites, exploring diverse and beautiful landscapes, and learning about Israel’s culture. You will also have the opportunity to travel for ten days with Israeli soldiers and university students your own age and explore your own personal relationship with the State of Israel.
The St. Louis Community Birthright Trip is for young adults between the ages of 21-26 who have not previously traveled to Israel on a peer trip or study program, and who have a connection to St. Louis – whether you grew up here, or moved here for school or a job – it doesn’t matter. This trip will allow you the chance to connect to your Jewish homeland in Israel, and remain connected to Judaism, your own Jewish identity, your fellow travelers and your local Jewish community after you return home. If you or someone you know is interested in traveling to Israel on a St. Louis Community Birthright Trip, reach out to Karen Rader at 314-442-3756 or KRader@JFedSTL.org.
