Director, Campaign Operations
Joel Frankel is the Director of Campaign Operations at the Jewish Federation of St. Louis. He is responsible for driving Development strategy and developing donor-centric, operationally efficient business processes to align the organization’s fundraising efforts with the needs of the community. Joel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University with a concentration in Finance and an additional major in Judaic Studies. He began his career as a management consultant specializing in developing growth identification strategies for clients in the consumer packaged goods industry. Prior to shifting his focus to Development at Federation, Joel served as an Israel Engagement Professional and then as a Business Process Improvement Project Manager. Born in Cincinnati, Joel is a proud alum of Yavneh Day School (aka Rockwern Academy) and a grateful recipient of informal Jewish educational experiences like summer camp at the JCC and Young Judea, USY Shabbatons, and numerous trips to Israel. Joel and his wife, Leah, are both Midwesterners who are thrilled to be raising their two sons, Elijah and Noah, in St. Louis. He enjoys spending time golfing, cycling, and playing fantasy football.
