Three Days to Sinai

Before the moment of revelation at Sinai, God told Moses, “Let them be ready for the third day; for on the third day the Lord will come down, in the sight of all the people, on Mount Sinai.” (Exodus 19:11). We hope you’ll join us on the three days leading into Shavuot to learn with teachers throughout the St. Louis Jewish community.

B’nai Amoona presents Torah For Today, Shavuot in 3 Dimensions

Pre Shavuot Services and Kumzitz with participants on Zoom, FB Live, Streaming. Come sit, sing, and be inspired to receive the Torah anew! Experience a joyful singing circle with songs led by Andy and BelleAnne Curry, David and Adam Schenberg, Noam Kantor, and Cantor Sharon, etc. Then join Rabbi Carnie Rose as we formally welcome Shavuot with the lighting of the Yom Tov candles, Kiddush, and Motzi.

Cheesecake for Shavuot – Why of Course!

Patty’s Cheesecake is offering an opportunity to purchase a special cheesecake for Shavuot, and they will be donating part of the proceeds to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry. They will be ready for pickup before the holiday begins on Thursday, May 28. Pick up at The Baker’s Hub, near 141 and Olive in Chesterfield. To place your order, visit pattyscheesecakes.com. Click “order online” then “the Shavuot” option. All orders must be submitted by Friday, May 22.

613 Catering is offering an opportunity to purchase a special kosher cheesecake for Shavuot. They will be ready for pickup before the holiday beginning of Wednesday, May 27, and Thursday, May 28. For the cheesecake menu and to place your order, contact Robin Rickerman at 314-442-3275. Do not leave an order, but do leave a message and call back number so that Robin can take your order directly. All orders must be submitted by Friday, May 22.
