You have the ability to influence the St. Louis philanthropic community

The Philanthropic Institute for Professional Advisors (PIPA) represents collaboration between the St. Louis Community Foundation, the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, and the Roman Catholic Foundation of Eastern Missouri. These organizations have come together to provide an educational opportunity for financial, legal, and accounting professionals to better incorporate charitable planning conversations into their practice.

PIPA creates greater understanding of the values that motivate philanthropy and the ways to satisfy client intentions. As participants hone their values based communication skills, they will also have the opportunity to form strong and enduring professional ties.

  • The purpose of PIPA is to provide an annual educational forum for 35 leading professional advisors from the St. Louis region. Wealth, tax, and legal advisors will all benefit from this unique opportunity.
  • The goal of PIPA is to improve philanthropic outcomes and impact by equipping our region’s best professional advisors with the valuable tools and skills they want to better facilitate values based client conversations.
  • PIPA participants will learn how to approach financial, tax, and estate planning through the lens of the client’s personal values, leading to deeper, multi-generational client relationships.
  • PIPA participants will benefit from expert instruction regarding their communication styles and strategic thinking skills.
  • Hear from charitably-oriented families as to the positive outcomes that a philanthropic plan has had on their family and the benefits their philanthropy has had in the community.
  • PIPA participants will gain confidence in communicating with clients about philanthropy.
  • The PIPA class of 2019 will be a complimentary group of personally invited guests. Participants may submit their applications online at StlGives.org/Resource/PIPA-Program.
