DESCRIPTION:Join Avi Mazzeo for a conversation with musical accompaniment exploring the history and evolution of Sephardic music.\n\nIn-person at Kol Rinah — RSVP not required\, but helpful\n\n\nEach session will begin with a brief historical background on the communities whose music we will be learning\, then we will listen to several examples of recordings from distinguished members of these communities\, and conclude with a song circle where we will learn several Sephardic tunes together.\n\nThere will be a packet full of music for folks to take home after each session.\nYou do not have to attend both sessions. The music packet will be cumulative.
