Kehillah is a new society of donors who generously contribute a minimum gift of $1000 to Jewish Federation of St. Louis’ Annual Campaign. Kehillah, which is the Hebrew word for “community,” is a symbol of one’s philanthropic commitment. Kehillah was developed to recognize the generosity of donors that help to make our community strong and vibrant.
Donors who give at this level will receive recognition through exclusive programming throughout the year. Being a part of Kehillah symbolizes one’s dedication to the St. Louis Jewish community, philanthropy, and ensuring the continuity of the rich Jewish culture throughout the world. By strengthening personal relationships, creating an open forum for innovative ideas and fostering leadership development across our Kehillah, society members will continue to reinforce their commitment to Jewish values and philanthropy.
Kehillah Society events are also open to those interested in learning more about the society and aspiring to donate at the Kehillah level.
The goals for Kehillah include:
- Providing comprehensive and informative education about the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, our Jewish community and Federation’s planning and allocations process.
- Strengthening and increasing the vitality and viability of the Jewish community of St. Louis.
- Enabling and empowering individuals to realize their maximum potential in a community environment.
