DESCRIPTION:Camp LEAD is a social justice–focused summer experience for rising 6th–8th grade students in the St. Louis region. Hosted by LEAD STL\, a nonprofit empowering youth to lead social change in Greater St. Louis through immersive learning\, leadership development\, and empathy building\, the program is centered in the Black and Jewish experiences and their intersections with other identities. Through this approach\, students build empathy\, leadership\, and the social and emotional skills needed to bridge divides. \n\n\n\nCamp LEAD offers four one-week sessions in July centered on identity\, leadership\, and advocacy. Campers can attend one session\, or all four. \n\n\n\nEach session includes engaging activities\, interactive discussions\, creative expression\, and local field trips that connect students to the St. Louis community. Campers will build confidence\, strengthen leadership skills\, and learn how to engage across difference in meaningful ways.

As the Chicago Sun-Times broke the story\, neighbors struggled to reconcile the accusations with the man they thought they knew. \n\n\n\nJoin author and longtime OPRF teacher Michael Soffer in conversation with Chief Digital Content Officer of the St. Louis Jewish Light\, Jordan Palmer\, as they examine the community’s response to the Kulle Affair\, exploring why some Americans defended former Nazis even after their pasts were revealed.
