Join Rabbi Jonah Pesner, Director of the Religious Action Center and Senior Vice President for the Union for Reform Judaism, for a session on how to successfully integrate social justice work into your religious community. Rabbi Pesner will address how working across lines of difference can strengthen your community’s justice work and how the Reform Movement is pursuing immigration rights, racial justice, LGBTQ rights, and more. Rabbi Pesner will also reflect on the midterm elections, offering an analysis of how Reform Movement social justice priorities fared at the ballot box and what opportunities for justice work lie ahead. This presentation will offer attendees an opportunity to analyze their social justice priorities and strategize about how justice work can strengthen their community through leadership development and skill building.
