David’s story revolves around the time in his life when he became a soldier in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). When his unit was called to duty during the Second Lebanon War in 2006, he almost lost his life in the crosshairs of Hezbollah. That moment was a huge wake-up call for David and led him on a path very different than the one he had taken before. He talks about the true meaning of roots, family, community and Israel. This subject matter touches everyone who comes to hear David, across the board and around the world.

David Sussman is not only a first-rate tour guide with a great breadth of knowledge, but he is a renowned motivational speaker as well. He is the host and writer of “Land of the Bible,” a popular show on cable TV.
