For 41 years, Professor Kenneth W. Stein has taught Middle Eastern History and Political Science at Emory University. His scholarship and teaching focuses on the politics of modern Arab world, American foreign policy toward the Middle East, origins of modern Israel and the Arab-Israeli negotiating process. He is the founding Director of the Emory Institute for the Study of Modern Israel, the oldest such Israel Study Center in the United States. Ken is a pioneer in Israel education, establishing the Center for Israel Education in 2008. The Center’s website, heavy with rich content, is considered to be the most reliable and innovative web-based source for learning about modern Israel.
