Dr. Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett is Chief Curator of the Core Exhibition of POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. She played an instrumental role in establishing the Museum, which opened in 2013 on the 70th Anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The core exhibition documents and celebrates the 1,000-year history of the Jewish community in Poland that was decimated in the Holocaust. She is University Professor Emerita and Professor of Emerita of Performance Studies at New York University.
