Avivit will provide an overview of the work of the Inter Agency Task Force on Israeli Arab Issues, sharing developments in Israel’s Jewish-Arab relations over the years. She will offer examples of some of the most inspiring changemakers and projects on the ground with a focus on how this work relates to American-Jewish interest and understanding of Israel.

Avivit Hai is the Program Director in Israel for the Inter Agency Task Force on Israeli Arab Issues. She held positions at the Economic Cooperation Foundation in Tel Aviv, where she implemented Israeli-Palestinian civil society projects in the spheres of social welfare, education, and cross-border cooperation. She also worked with the Italian Center for Peace in the Middle East in Milan.
