2019 Pack a Bag of Love for Hanukkah


Lend Your Hands and Your Hearts for Hanukkah

Make a difference in the lives of our community members that are living in care facilities or homebound by joining us in a special community service opportunity. We will be making care packages to be delivered to these individuals for Hanukkah.

Online registration closes at midnight on December 10.


Enjoy craft projects and gift prep for care packages.
Drinks and desserts provided; dietary laws observed.


Help assemble and pack care packages.

Don’t forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy, book, or gift card for our Hanukkah Hugs collection!

Women’s Philanthropy and Jewish Family & Children’s Service are collecting new, unwrapped gifts for children ages 0-18 who are in need this holiday season.

Please donate by December 11.

The following options are available for gift drop off:

  • Bring your gift to one of our Hanukkah bag packaging events on either Thursday, December 12, at 6:30 pm or Friday, December 13, at 10:30 am at the the Jewish Federation of St. Louis.
  • Visit Amazon.com and send your gift directly to the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, 12 Millstone Campus Drive, St. Louis, 63146, Attn: Jessica Wax
  • Drop off your gift at one of our collection sites: Jewish Federation of St. Louis, Jewish Community Centers, Congregation Temple Israel, United Hebrew Congregation, Kol Rinah, Central Reform Congregation, B’nai Amoona Congregation, Shaare Emeth, Temple Emanuel, Traditional Congregation, Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School, Epstein Hebrew Academy
