Combat Camera: Signal Corps Images From WWII

While many people are familiar with the communications function of the US Army Signal Corps in WWII, fewer are aware of the role they played in recording the action through films and still photographs. This exhibit highlights the role of the still photographers in Europe who captured the images we see about the war; photographs that were used for training, strategic planning and analysis, public information, and to capture the historical record. Military editors and censors also played a role in what was seen by both troops and the public.
Dessert reception to follow program; dietary laws observed. This event is free and open to the public but seating is limited.
