Author and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Fellow\, Dr. Kevin E. Simpson will share remarkable stories of courage and resilience\, highlighting the role soccer played in the lives of those facing persecution. Dr. Simpson will be joined in conversation by Tamar Sher\, award-winning sports anchor and reporter for First Alert 4 (KMOV) and the first woman named Missouri Sportscaster of the Year\, for a discussion on the powerful connection between sports\, society\, and the human spirit. \n\n\n\nThis lecture is part of the Dr. Arthur & Marilyn Gale Lecture Series and is a free program.
