SUMMARY:Kids Hanukkah Art Contest Deadline
DESCRIPTION:Kids in grades K-6 are invited to create a Hanukkah-themed original piece of art as part of the Jewish Light’s 2025 Hanukkah Art Contest.WHO CAN ENTER:Grades Kindergarten-6\, with winners in the following groups: K-1st grade\, grades 2-3\, and grades 4-6. \n\n\n\nEntries will be judged on creativity and artistic merit and how well the artwork reflects the Hanukkah theme. \n\n\n\nAll winning entries will be published in the Dec. 3 issue of the Light. Every child who enters will be recognized by name in the Hanukkah edition. \n\n\n\nPRIZES:1st place: $72 gift card to Happy Up Inc. (Clayton & Edwardsville)2nd place: $54 gift card to Happy UpHonorable mention: $36 gift card to Happy Up \n\n\n\nHOW TO ENTER:– Create an original Hanukkah-themed artwork on 8 1/2 x 11-inch paper. \n\n\n\n– Use any medium: crayons\, markers\, watercolors\, colored pencils\, paper collage\, etc. (no glitter or confetti\, please). \n\n\n\n– Artwork must be original and created entirely by the child (kits are not allowed). \n\n\n\n– Do not write the child’s name on the artwork. \n\n\n\n– Attach separate piece of paper with: Child’s name\, parent’s name\, child’s age\, grade\, school\, synagogue affiliation (if any)\, and a phonr number. \n\n\n\nDEADLINE: \n\n\n\nMonday\, Nov. 24 at 5 pm. \n\n\n\nHOW TO SUBMIT: \n\n\n\nMail: Coloring Contest\, c/o St. Louis Jewish Light\, 7201 Delmar Blvd.\, Suite 201\, St. Louis\, MO 63131. \n\n\n\nEmail: news@stljewishlight.org \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nFor more information\, call 314-743-3665 or email news@stljewishlight.org.
