Travel Grants for Ages 14-26

 

A gift from the St. Louis community that provides grants to teens and young adults to help them experience Israel.

Eligibility Requirements

CRITERIA HIGH SCHOOL POST-HIGH SCHOOL
Age Completion of 9th through
12th grade
Up to 27 years of age
Religion Students with at least one Jewish parent or students who have converted to Judaism. Must identify with Jewish faith at time application is submitted. Geographic ties to St. Louis Parent(s) must reside in St. Louis during the year the trip takes place. Parent(s) reside in St. Louis and/or participant’s permanent address is in St. Louis.
Minimum length & type of eligible trip Three weeks in Israel unless part of the March of the Living. Trip must be travel for a peer-based experience only. Two weeks in Israel. Trip must be travel for a peer-based experience only.

How previous Israel travel impacts application No impact. First timers as well as students who have been to Israel may apply. Students are eligible for one grant in any 12-month funding period (Aug. 1 – July 31). Students may not apply for the same program or school more than once. Participant requirements
  • Participant & parent complete a baseline pre-trip survey prior to departure.
  • Sign an agreement to complete a post-trip survey.
  • Repay the grant in full if the grant recipient subsequently does not go to Israel.
  • Complete a travel advisory agreement.

Funds will be sent to the trip provider once the baseline survey and agreements are completed.
