Women’s Philanthropy of Jewish Federation of St. Louis will present an evening program on “Kabbalah: Uncovering Judaic Mysticism” on Thursday, February 6 at 7:00 pm at the Chabad House of Greater St. Louis.

Attendees will join together for hors d’oeuvres and cocktails before settling in for a program on Kabbalah lead by Shiffy Landa.  Landa, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, received her education while attending Chabad schools in NY.  She and her husband, Rabbi Yosef Landa, have directed Chabad of Greater St. Louis since its establishment in 1981.  She has extensive experience in teaching both adults and children, with a particular emphasis in creative programming for Jewish women.  She is an award-winning educator, and has written and lectured extensively on the application of the most current and innovative teaching methodologies.

The program cost is $15.  To register, go to www.womensphilanthropystl.org.

The program is the last event in the Women’s Philanthropy Programming Series.  The series began with a discussion on renewal in the New Year, and in November it held a very informative presentation on discovering roots in Jewish Genealogy.
