Professor Eithan Galun, M.D., will highlight recent achievements and advancements at Hadassah Medical Organization through healing, teaching and research.  He will draw from entrepreneurial stories in the Bible to tell a larger story of modern Israel, proving that when it comes to entrepreneurship, there are more success stories than in most other areas of the world.

Eithan Galun earned his M.D. in 1978 from the Sackler Medical School, Tel Aviv University. Today, he is Director of the Goldyne Savad Institute of Gene Therapy at Hadassah Hebrew University Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel. He also serves as Chief Medical Officer of Theravir Management, Ltd. and was the principle investigator in a Medgenics’ clinical trial. He is an author of eight patents and is one of Israel’s leading researchers of liver diseases and gene therapy. Dr. Galun is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Hadassah Hebrew University Medical Center.
