Jewish Federation of St. Louis is excited to welcome Blogger Amy Kritzer to St. Louis for a special event through the Jewish Food Experience. Last fall, St. Louis was selected to pilot the Jewish Food Experience, an initiative by Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, in our community. Amy Kritzer from “What Jew Wanna Eat” will lead an intimate cooking experience followed by a community cooking demo.

Join Amy Kritzer at the J Arts & Education Center on Tuesday, April 19. Setting the Plate, a VIP cooking experience with Amy, will take place at 5:30 pm. Following, The Main Course will take place at 7:30 pm with an entertaining cooking demo and tasting.

Growing up, Amy Kritzer loved cooking with her Bubbe- braiding challah bread, rolling out rugelach, the works! She loved cooking these recipes so much, she quit her corporate job and went to culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu in Austin. Now, she spends her days teaching cooking classes, developing recipes, personal chefing and food writing. What Jew Wanna Eat is your source for home cooked goodness. Amy’s modern interpretations of classic recipes bring new light to old favorites and she loves bringing ingredients from other cultures to create a whole new unique cuisine.

$36 ticket includes Setting the Plate (space is limited) and admission to The Main Course. $15 ticket includes The Main Course with light appetizers and one drink ticket. Dietary laws observed. Must be 21 years old to attend.

This event is for Jewish young adults in their 20s and 30s. Register by April 15. Jewish Federation of St. Louis is proud to subsidize this event so 100% of your contribution can go towards funding important agencies and programs in the community. In partnership with YPD and Next Dor STL. For more information, contact Nate Rosenblum at NRosenblum@JFedSTL.org or 314-442-3726.
