This week, we had many special activities!
On Monday, I had an adult program about the Israeli elections, together with Rabbi Zinn. I want to thank everyone who came and shared their opinions about the Israeli politics. It was very interesting!
At Shaare Emeth Early Childhood Center, we read the Israeli Children’s book “Eliezer and the Carrot” together, and then we made Shakshuka with some of the parents!
This week, we commemorate the Israeli Holocaust Memorial Day. On this day we remember the 6 Million Jews that were murdered during WWII. It was my first time experiencing it outside of Israel, and it was very hard being away from friends and family at these sad times.
