Snow!

Although it is almost Tu Bishvat, we got snow here and also in Israel! In Jerusalem the snow reached almost 2 inches, that’s nothing compared to here, but it’s something!

On Friday, I went sledding with my host family, and we also shoved the snow from the driveway, something that I could never experience in Israel.

This week we had lots of activities for Tu Bishvat!

We made our own Almond trees (Shkedia), we learned about different trees in Israel and we even read the blessings of the Tu Bishvat Seder!

This Friday, Lir and I are going to take part in the annual NFTY Winter Convention, some of our friends from Colorado, Shinshinim, and students are coming to United Hebrew Congregation! We are all very excited to have them in St. Louis.
