Jewish Federation of St. Louis’ Board of Trustees has voted Gerald Greiman as vice chair, strategic planning. In this position, he will work directly with the chair of the board to insure implementation of the Federation strategic plan and enable ongoing discussions of priority and strategy.  Greiman replaces Greg Yawitz, who stepped down to assume the presidency at Congregation Shaare Emeth.

Greiman is a partner in the law firm Spencer Fane Britt & Brown LLP. He serves on the Federation’s Nominating Committee and Bylaws Review Committee and is a past co-chair of Federation’s Cardozo Society. He is the immediate past president of the St. Louis Jewish Community Relations Council. He is involved with the Jewish Council for Public Affairs on the national level, serving on its board of directors and executive committee, as vice chair, and as co-chair of its Jewish Security & Bill of Rights Task Force.

Greiman is married to Susan Carlson, a lawyer in private practice and former Missouri state representative. They have two children, David and Nora Greiman, and are members of Central Reform Congregation.
